The Difference is in the Data
Optical, Not Electrochemical
The O2S dissolved oxygen sensor uses optical luminescence quenching — no electrolyte to refill, no membrane to replace, no flow dependency. Just accurate, drift-resistant readings for years, with a single cap swap when needed.
Inductive Conductivity
The CON sensor uses an inductive measurement principle — corrosion-free, nearly maintenance-free, and temperature-compensated. No electrodes in contact with water means no fouling, no drift, and reliable salinity calculations in both fresh and saltwater.
Serviceable by Design
pH and ORP electrodes use standard BNC connectors and can be replaced in minutes — no tools, no factory return. Calibration standards are available in 20 ml sachets. The O2S cap is a single push-fit replacement. Total cost of ownership stays low.

IP68 submersible ratings on sensors, IP65 on alarm lamps, stainless steel 1.4435 / 1.4542 wetted parts, polypropylene housings, and cable lengths from 5 m to 10 m standard. Extension cables available for remote installations.

Each Sensor Explained
Oxygen Sensor O2S — Art. 2100
Optical dissolved oxygen sensor using luminescence quenching. Range 0–20 mg/L / 0–200% saturation. Accuracy <1% FS, T90 <30s. Stainless steel 1.4435 body, IP68. The only consumable is the exchangeable sensor cap (Art. 2101, ~2 yr life). Also available: stainless steel holder (Art. 2102) and protective hood (Art. 2103).
pH Sensor XR1 — Art. 2200
Electrochemical pH sensor, range pH 4–10, accuracy <±2% FS. UW-glass body with ceramic diaphragm. BNC connector for quick electrode swaps (Art. 2201). Unique feature: when paired with temperature and alkalinity data, SENECT controllers calculate dissolved CO₂ concentration — a powerful tool for aquaculture water quality management. Calibration set Art. 2209.
ORP Sensor XT1 — Art. 2300
Electrochemical REDOX sensor, range −1000 to +1000 mV, accuracy <±2.5% FS. Glass body with ceramic diaphragm, Pg13.5 thread. Ideal for denitrification filter control, ozone dosing verification, and water quality monitoring. Replacement electrode Art. 2301 (BNC). Calibration standard +475 mV: Art. 2309.
Conductivity Sensors CON — Art. 2410 / 2400
Inductive measurement — no electrodes, no corrosion, no fouling. CON-2 (Art. 2410): 0–2000 µS/cm for freshwater. CON-50 (Art. 2400): 0–50 mS/cm for saltwater/marine. Polypropylene housing, G1½" PVC process connection, integrated temperature sensor, IP68, 10 m cable. SENECT controllers auto-calculate salinity in PSU.
Pressure Sensor EDS — Art. 2002
Piezoresistive membrane sensor for gas and liquid media. Stainless steel 1.4542 wetted parts, G1/4" inner thread. Accuracy <0.5% FS. Ideal for monitoring aeration/oxygen pipelines and drum filter spray bars. Available in 2.5, 4, and 6 bar ranges. Extension cables: Art. 3450 (5 m), Art. 3460 (10 m).
Alarm Lamps VIS-LED — Art. 3200 / 3210
Long-lasting LED alarm indicators with IP65 rating for outdoor use. VIS-LED (Art. 3200): visual only, Ø62mm, −25 to +70°C. VIS-LED AK (Art. 3210): visual + acoustic horn with selectable tone and adjustable volume, Ø90mm. Both wall-mountable, 5 m cable, ~1.2W power draw. Connect to any SENECT actuator port.
Power Switch SC24-230 — Art. 3100
Switches 230V AC consumers (up to 2000W) via SENECT actuator output ports. Drive oxygen generators, pumps, and high-power equipment from any SENECT control unit. Schuko IP44 plugs, ASA housing, 1 m cables each side. Maximises AQUACULTURE|CONTROL functionality with up to 8 × 230V outputs.
Solenoid Valves — Art. 3020 / 3010
Oxygen M7 (Art. 3020): Normally open brass valve, G1/8", 0.2–7 bar. Oxygen flows during power failure — protecting your stock. Water M12 (Art. 3010): Normally closed brass valve, G1", 0.2–12 bar, up to 90°C. For auto-refill and water supply lines. Both IP67, 5 m cable, ~10W.
Fish Feeders — Art. 3301 / 3302
Fish Feeder 5L (Art. 3301): Rotor dispenser, 2–9mm pellets, ~5 kg capacity, wall-mount, IP44. Hatchery Fry Feeder (Art. 3302): For powder and fine feed (≤2mm), ~2L, moisture-sealed aperture, integrated LEDs to attract fish. Both 12V DC, <10W, 5 m cable, intelligent control via SENECT controllers with feed-to-temperature curves and oxygen-conditional feeding.
