You Need a Thermostat
TI-TEX gives you the element — the part that heats your water. The thermostat is up to you. This means accurate control, reliable switching, and no cheap built-in components that fail when you need them most.
⚠️ Do NOT Plug In Without a Thermostat
These are heater elements only. You MUST have a thermostat to run them. Do not plug a TI-TEX heater into a power outlet without adequate temperature control. Your thermostat must be able to not only monitor but actively control the temperature by switching the heater on and off. This is not optional — it is a safety requirement for every model, every wattage.
If you don't have a thermostat, you will need to buy one. We have the WEIPRO MX-1037 external stand-alone temperature controller available below — it runs any TI-TEX model from 25W up to the 3000W on its 16A relay.

External stand-alone temperature controller with a beefy 16A relay and a single socket that runs every TI-TEX heater from 25W right up to the 3000W model. The upgraded thermostat measures to ±0.1°C accuracy on the readout, with a set-point adjustment resolution of ±1°C. One controller, full range — plug in whichever TI-TEX element your system needs.
If You Have a Thermostat
First check the relay is big enough to run the heater or heaters you're buying. A thermostat rated for 500W won't safely run a 1000W element. Match the relay capacity to your total heater wattage.
If You Don't Have a Thermostat
You will need to buy one. We recommend the WEIPRO MX-1037 external stand-alone temperature controller — one socket runs any TI-TEX model from 25W up to 3000W, with a 16A relay, ±0.1°C readout accuracy. It's listed below in the product range.
Precision 0.1° Control
We also have precision thermostats with 0.1° accuracy and resolution. These wire into larger contactors or circuits for commercial and specialist applications. Please contact us if you require this degree of control.

800W and above models can be hard-wired directly to your thermostat for a clean, permanent, professional installation with no plug clutter.
