MICROPLEX - Aquatic Probiotic Powder
MICROPLEX - Aquatic Probiotic Powder
MICROPLEX
Professional Biological Cycling & Water Quality Powder. A 25-strain professional-grade bacterial inoculant for rapid cycling, ammonia and nitrite reduction, and long-term water quality in freshwater and marine systems.
25 Strains. One Complete Ecosystem.
Microplex contains 25 carefully selected strains totalling 6.5 ร 10ยนโฐ CFU/g. Each strain was chosen for a specific role โ from ammonia oxidation to enzyme-driven waste digestion. Together they form a complete microbial ecosystem for biological water quality.
Nitrification Core
Nitrosomonas europea oxidises ammonia to nitrite. Nitrobacter winogradskyi oxidises nitrite to nitrate. The essential backbone of the nitrogen cycle for rapid, reliable cycling.
Waste Recycling
The consortium produces amylase, protease, cellulase, lipase, chitinase, xylanase, and ligninase. Breaks down sludge, starch, protein, fats, and complex organics at the source.
Biofilter Establishment
Biofilm-forming strains colonise filter media and system surfaces, building a resilient, stable biofilter that maintains water quality between maintenance cycles.
Microbial Balance
Bdellovibrio bacteriovorus is a naturally occurring bacterium that consumes excess bacterial biomass in the water column, helping maintain a diverse, balanced microbial community.
Planted System Support
Multiple strains support nutrient cycling in planted systems โ solubilising phosphate and fixing atmospheric nitrogen as part of the water-column nutrient loop.
Water Clarity
Bacillus natto produces PGA, a natural bioflocculant. Bacillus mucilaginosus breaks down silicate minerals. Combined effect keeps the water column crystal clear.
Engineered for Bacterial Synergy
Microplex delivers comprehensive biological water quality support through multiple synergistic mechanisms working in concert.
Rapid Waste Breakdown
Processes sludge, detritus, and uneaten food directly in the system for cleaner, clearer water.
Reef & Plant Safe
Zero impact on coral sensitivity or delicate aquatic flora. 100% biological and non-GMO.
Ammonia & Nitrite Reduction
Reduces NHโ/NOโ peaks during feeding cycles or livestock additions.
Microbial Community Stability
Helps maintain a diverse, stable microbial community in the biofilter and water column.
Every Strain. Every Function.
Microplex combines 25 individual microbial strains, each selected for a specific role in biological water quality. All strains naturally occurring and non-GMO.
