EnrichµM - Food Enrichment

EnrichµM is a ready-to-use liquid emulsion of marine oils and hydrolysates designed as a high-quality feed and enrichment for aquatic organisms in both aquaculture and aquarium applications. The formulation breaks down proteins into highly digestible peptides and amino acids, making it ideal for direct feeding, enhancing prepared feeds, or enriching live feeds.

• Form: Liquid emulsion.
• Storage: EnrichµM contains no preservatives. Must be kept chilled. Vitamin E is included as a natural antioxidant.
• Phosphorus Content: No added phosphorus; only contains what is naturally present in the hydrolysate (0.168%).

4. General Feeding & Application Instructions

• Food Soaking (Dry & Frozen Food):

  • Apply 1-2 drops per gram of food. A small amount of water can be added to EnrichµM to improve distribution over the food. It can be used as a surface coating/soak or mixed in as an ingredient.

• Direct Coral Feeding:

  • Dose 0.5 ml per 250 L of aquarium water.

• Live Food Culture Feeding (Pre-Enrichment):

  • Use a starting feed rate of 0.1-0.2 ml per 1 million rotifers or Artemia. This rate is dependent on aeration/oxygen levels and water quality and should be adjusted as needed.

5. Directions for Use: Live Feed Enrichment

A. Rotifer Enrichment

1. Preparation: Add washed rotifers to a clean enrichment tank (25 ppt saltwater) at a maximum density of 1,000,000 rotifers/litre. Maintain temperature at 27°C and pH at 7.8-8.0 using a buffer like Sodium Bicarbonate. Provide gentle oxygenation (>4.5 mg/L).
2. Enrichment: Blend 0.1 ml of EnrichµM per 1,000,000 rotifers with a small amount of saltwater for 3 minutes. Add the emulsion to the tank.
3. Harvest: Harvest after 4-6 hours.

B. Artemia Enrichment

1. Preparation: Add clean, hatched Artemia nauplii to an enrichment tank (25 ppt saltwater) at a density of 200,000-250,000 nauplii/litre. Maintain temperature at 28°C with strong oxygenation (>4.5 mg/L).
2. Enrichment: Blend 0.2 ml of EnrichµM per litre of culture volume with saltwater for 3 minutes. Add the emulsion to the tank for a 4-6 hour enrichment period.
   • Note: For maximum nutritional value, this process can be repeated for a second 4-6 hour soak if you wish.
3. Harvest: Harvest the enriched Artemia after the enrichment period is complete. Wash thoroughly before use.

Important Application Note

EnrichµM is a HIGHLY concentrated emulsified complex of nutrition supplements and additives for aquatic species. 

All water quality parameters (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, kH, pH and Dissolved oxygen) should be monitored closely in any application where this product is used in order prevent degradation of the culture or system environment.
