How It Works

The principle is simple but highly effective. The unit is installed into the water line that feeds your skimmer's washdown mechanism or your automated water change supply. Using the integrated digital timer, you take full control of the cycle.

1. Program Your Cycle: You set two key parameters: the ON-Time (how long the water flows/sprays) and the OFF-Time (the interval between each event).
2. Automated Activation: At the end of your programmed OFF-Time interval, the timer automatically energizes the industrial-grade solenoid valve, causing it to open.
3. Powerful Action: For washdowns, a powerful spray of water is released into the skimmer neck to wash away organic film. For auto water changes, the valve opens to allow a precise volume of new water into the system.
4. Reset and Wait: The solenoid closes, and the timer begins counting down the OFF-Time until the next cycle.

This 'set and forget' process ensures the path for foam is always clear or that your water is refreshed consistently without you lifting a finger.
