The 03 represents the three contaminant classes FERRIX strips from your water — each one a known driver of livestock stress, nuisance algae and system degradation.

How FERRIX-03 Works
Rinse First
Place FERRIX-03 in a fine media bag or filter sock and rinse under tap water until it runs clear. The low-dust granule cleans fast — usually under a minute.
Fluidised Reactor or Media Bag
Run it in a phosphate reactor for maximum contact, or drop the media bag into a high-flow area of your sump. More flow = more contact = more removal.
Test & Monitor
Check phosphate levels with a reliable Hanna Checker or equivalent. When PO₄ stops dropping, media is exhausted — swap it out.
Change & Repeat
Fresh media in, old media out. Don't try to regenerate it — once GFO is saturated, it's done. Buy once, cry once.
