At Biotech Aquatica , we’re here to demystify nanobubble technology in aquaculture. After all, it’s just a pump , a nozzle , a tube , and an oxygen supply —and chances are, you already have most of that!
Why Nanobubbles?
Nanobubbles are tiny, stable bubbles that do big things for your aquaculture system:
- Resistant to Degassing: Builds longer-lasting oxygen reserves in water.
- Additional Bio Security: Helps eliminate harmful bacteria, viruses, and parasites.
- Increase in Redox and Oxidation Capacity: Breaks down waste and organic materials more effectively.
- Reduction in Oxygen and Ozone Use: Typical outcomes from applying nanobubbles in aquaculture systems.
- Control of Biofilms: Reduces buildup, improving water quality and system efficiency.
- Improved Circulation, Mixing, and Oxygen Distribution: Through Brownian motion, nanobubbles ensure better oxygen dispersion, especially in deeper areas.
Our NBN (Nanobubble Nozzle) Range
Our nozzles are designed to work with your existing setup, making it easy and cost-effective to improve water quality and oxygen efficiency. Here’s what we offer:

Standard Inclusions
All NBN (Nanobubble Nozzle) models include:
- PVC construction (default material).
- 5m polyurethane hose .
- Bronze gas fittings .
- Flow meter .
Upgrade Options
- PTFE fittings : Ozone-compatible fittings are available as an upgrade.
- Ozone-compatible hose : Sold separately for specific applications.
Other Material Options
For specialised applications, our nozzles are also available in:
- HDPE : Lightweight and corrosion-resistant.
- PTFE : Highly chemical-resistant, ideal for ozone integration.
- SS304 : Stainless steel for durability in harsh environments.
- SS316 : Premium stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance.
How Does It Work?
It’s simple:
- Connect: Use your existing pump, oxygen supply, and pipes.
- Install: Add the nozzle to your system—it fits right in.
- Run: Set it at a low flow for continuous use or increase it during peak demand.
Forget Atmospheric Air!
While you can use atmospheric air, we recommend using pure oxygen or ozone for the best results. Nitrogen and CO2 in air can harm water quality and aquatic life.
