How It Works

The principle is simple but highly effective. The FFWD unit is installed into the water line that feeds your skimmer's washdown mechanism (e.g., spray nozzles). Using the integrated digital timer, you take full control of the cleaning cycle.

1. Program Your Cycle: You set two key parameters: the ON-Time (how long the water sprays for) and the OFF-Time (the interval between each spray).
2. Automated Activation: At the end of your programmed OFF-Time interval, the timer automatically energizes the industrial-grade solenoid valve, causing it to open.
3. Powerful Rinse: A brief, powerful spray of water is released into the skimmer neck, washing away the organic film and residue before it can build up and hinder performance.
4. Reset and Wait: The solenoid closes, and the timer begins counting down the OFF-Time until the next cycle.

This 'set and forget' process ensures the path for foam is always clear, allowing your skimmer to consistently remove waste at its maximum potential.

• ON-Time (Wash Duration): Adjustable from 0.01 seconds to 99 hours.

• OFF-Time (Interval): Adjustable from 0.01 seconds to 99 hours.

To get you started immediately, the unit comes pre-programmed from the factory with a common setting: a 3-second wash every 30 minutes.
