4. General Feeding & Application Instructions (EnrichµM-D)
Food Soaking (Dry & Frozen Food):
Apply 1-2 drops per gram of food. This provides a gentle enrichment suitable for daily use. A small amount of aquarium water can be used to improve distribution.
Direct Coral Feeding:
Dose 3.0 ml per 250 L of aquarium water. Turn off skimmers and return pumps for 15-30 minutes to maximize contact time.
Live Food Culture Feeding (Pre-Enrichment):
Use a starting feed rate of 0.6-1.2 ml per 1 million rotifers or Artemia. Adjust based on culture density and water quality.
5. Directions for Use: Live Feed Enrichment (EnrichµM-D)
A. Rotifer Enrichment
Preparation: Add washed rotifers to a clean enrichment tank (25 ppt saltwater) at a maximum density of 1,000,000 rotifers/litre. Maintain temperature at 27°C and pH at 7.8-8.0. Provide gentle oxygenation (>4.5 mg/L).
Enrichment: Blend 0.6 ml of EnrichµM-D per 1,000,000 rotifers with a small amount of saltwater. Add the emulsion to the tank.
Harvest: Harvest after 4-6 hours.
B. Artemia Enrichment
Preparation: Add clean, hatched Artemia nauplii to an enrichment tank (25 ppt saltwater) at a density of 200,000-250,000 nauplii/litre. Maintain temperature at 28°C with strong oxygenation (>4.5 mg/L).
Enrichment: Blend 1.2 ml of EnrichµM-D per litre of culture volume with saltwater. Add the emulsion to the tank for a 4-6 hour enrichment period.
Harvest: Harvest the enriched Artemia and wash thoroughly before use.
Important Application Note
While EnrichµM-D is a pre-diluted formula designed for enhanced safety in closed aquarium systems, it remains a potent nutritional supplement. Excessive use can impact water quality (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate). It is recommended to monitor water parameters, especially when initiating a new feeding regimen. Do not use in conjunction with the concentrated EnrichµM formula.
